Education Rights Counsel lawyers provide free and low flat-fee services to Nebraska public school students and families based on federal poverty guidelines. We provide an initial free 1/2 hour of legal advice or consultation (one per family unit) to determine eligibility and whether legal advice or representation can be undertaken. The sliding scale below should help you determine, based on the number of persons in your household and annual income, if you are eligible for Education Rights Counsel services. If you are eligible and accepted, you will be provided services on a free or low flat-fee basis, scaled to need.
